Jonathan Osorio is a composer driven by curiosity, playfulness, and a love of the creative process. He approaches music as storytelling, first seeking to find the emotional core of a project and then responding with a score that is thoughtful, flexible, and unafraid to take risks. He values experimentation and enjoys finding unexpected musical solutions that still serve the story.

Jonathan has written music for short films, podcasts, and video games, and enjoys the collaborative process. He loves working closely with directors, designers, and creators, treating the score as a part of the creative conversation rather than a final layer placed on top. He really enjoys taking risks and thinking outside the box in order to effect people.

He is currently completing a Master’s degree in Film Composition at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where he was awarded the 2025 Pickle Award for Best Score.
